Delighted and Honoured to have been selected as a finalist in the Tom Bass Prize 2016

I am deeply grateful to the judges for choosing my alabaster sculpture - ‘Grande Amore’ as a finalist in the Tom Bass Prize for figurative sculpture.

Tom Bass has been my mentor for close to 15 years - his words often ring in my ear as I am chipping or filing away at my sculptures.

He taught me to ‘see’ in a sculptural sense - and this is why it is even more meaningful to me as one of his former students, to have been chosen as a finalist in this new, and prestigious art prize in Sydney.

The sculpture, and all the other finalists will be on display at Juniper Hall in Paddington, Sydney from 4th March to 20th March, 2016. You can find more info on the Tom Bass Prize website here.
