Rachel PART IV.

Rachel and her little sister Berta finally made it to the loading dock in Surry Hills.  Here you can see Rachel and Berta after they were holstered onto the trolley from the truck.  They then went by elevator up to the first floor, so that they could be wheeled the neighbouring tenancy - an acting and film school (interrupting class!) - and into the Cooper Street Studio.  Special ramps had to be constructed because there is one step down from the acting school into the Studio and any jolt could send the boulder rolling!

The second photo shows Paul’s 40 year old tailor made ‘dolly crane’ lifting Rachel onto her new bed of stillages at the Studio.   She has lovely views out to the street, and is very comfortable in her new surrounds. Paul estimated that Rachel weighs a hefty 1000 pounds - it’s my job to make her lose some weight, and possibly gain a waistline.
